If you would like to see all ideas created with a specific tag, you can click on the word or phrase via the tagcloud in the navigation sidebar area under "What we're discussing". You can also view ideas sorted by Campaigns from the right navigation area. To return to this page, click the All Ideas link.

Texture Layers 3D Photoshop Like Set Up

Texture Layers 3D Photoshop Like Set Up. We need to move to something that is more like Photoshop but in 3D. I would love to see a partnership with Photoshop to bring their set up and brush painting set up into ZBrush. But at the very least we need the ability to paint on textures in a layer format and we need to be able to match all the blending modes that we have in Photoshop.

Dynamic Adaptive Dynamesh

Have the ability to improve the dynamesh system to be fully dynamic instead of having to constantly ctrl+drag to re-dynamesh. This could be to in the similar fashion where sculptris is a voxel-based sculpting program where the mesh is dynamically re-tessellating itself. Incremental save button.

Just to improve production workflow. Every time you save generally you want a new version saved of the file so you a have a history and backup of your work. When I hit save tool, save document etc. Instead of having to type 01 02 03 each time on the end of a file. ZBrush True Camera System

ZBrush needs to have a true front, left, right, back, top, bottom and 3/4 camera view set up. You should be able to easily be able to select these cameras, duplicate them, manipulate them, store views for each one of them, add image planes to each camera, and even set keys for their positions for presentation.

Import By UV instead Of Vertex Order

This will allow you to import in blendshapes/morph targets and not have to worry about the vertex order. I specifically want to used it to break my heads off of my full body models, sculpt on them (for a head only sculpt pipeline) and then re incorporate the heads back onto the full bodies.
