Texture Layers 3D Photoshop Like Set Up. We need to move to something that is more like Photoshop but in 3D. I would love to see a partnership with Photoshop to bring their set up and brush painting set up into ZBrush. But at the very least we need the ability to paint on textures in a layer format and we need to be able to match all the blending modes that we have in Photoshop.
I have come across this issue before and there is a work around with layer and morphing but a simple paint-to-subtool would be awesome -the painting would have it's own independent masking that is invisible or the paint thickness and shape becomes the masking data.. then press extract-from-color on the layers or masking panel or the extract area on the subtools panel.
